Refund Policy

 

Fees will be refunded in the following circumstances.

For Certificate/Diploma Courses:

Fees are payable in advance on an instalment basis. A full refund of the applicable instalment is available where a written request for a refund is received within 7 days of payment AND the relevant course materials are returned to the College in original condition. Where a student submits a written request for a refund and returns course materials within 14 days of payment then 50% of the instalment will be refunded.

Once an assessment/assignment has been submitted to the College there is no refund available for that particular unit. No refunds are available 15 days after payment.

For Short Courses and/or Units:

Fees paid in advance for classroom-based courses are refunded in full as long as a minimum of 24 hours notice is given before the commencement date. Once a course has begun there are no refunds available.

For students studying a short course or unit by distance education refunds are only available where all course materials are returned to the College in original condition within 3 working days from the receipt of course materials.

In the unlikely event that Trison Business College is unable to fulfil its contract with a student then the proportion of fees paid by the student, for which services were not provided, will be refunded within 14 days.

Any complaints or disputes regarding refunds are to be referred to the Manager. In the event that the issue is not resolved then students should contact the State Training Authority:
