Entry Requirements: Nil. A basic knowledge of manual bookkeeping principles is helpful, but not essential.

Length: Self-paced (average 15 hours).

Software: The course is completed using MYOB Accounting Plus (version 19) software. A trial version of this software is provided to all students.

Content: Use MYOB software to record bookkeeping and payroll transactions for a business. All course materials, including software (test drive version) and a comprehensive manual, are supplied. Topics include entering daily transactions, creating and maintaining accounts, entering sales and purchases, recording payments and receipts, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and monitoring outstanding accounts.
