Diploma of Marketing
(Course Code: BSB51207)

 

The Diploma of Marketing develops a sound theoretical knowledge base in marketing management and a range of managerial skills to ensure that marketing functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area.

Completion of this Diploma can provide up to one year's credit transfer into relevant degree-level courses offered by universities.

Job titles relevant to this qualification include marketing manager, product manager, marketing team leader, public relations manager.

Entry Requirements: There are no specific entry requirements, however, completion of the Certificate IV in Marketing, or extensive vocational experience in project roles is preferred.

Length: Self-paced (average 12 months full-time).

Cost: $4200.00 ($3780.00 concession) with no prior training/experience, or $2400.00 ($2160.00 concession) for students who have completed the Certificate IV in Marketing.

Course Structure:

A total of 8 units must be completed to achieve the qualification.

  • Interpret market trends and developments
  • Implement and monitor marketing activities

Elective units (choose 3 of the following):

  • Manage budgets and financial plans
  • Promote products and services to international markets
  • Build international client relationships
  • Analyse data from international markets
  • Build international business networks
