This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are engaged to
manage the work of others or to add value to or review management practices.
Their role may be in any industry or organisational setting. Typically
people in these roles will have considerable experience in their respective
industries or vocational areas and couple an informed perspective of the
specific work requirements with their managerial approaches. The Diploma
of Management requires a sound theoretical knowledge base and managerial
competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate own work and/or the work
of a team.
Completion
of this Diploma provides up to one year's credit into relevant degree
courses offered by universities.

titles relevant to this qualification include manager, unit manager.
Entry
Requirements: There are no specific entry requirements, however, completion
of the Certificate IV in Frontline Management, or vocational experience
in a management or supervisory role is preferred.
Length:
Self-paced (average 12 months full-time).
Cost:
$4200.00 ($3780.00 concession) with no prior training/experience, or $2400.00
($2160.00 concession) for students who have completed the Certificate
IV in Frontline Management or Certificate IV in Business.
