Productivity Places Program - Existing Workers


An initiative of the Australian and State Governments

The Productivity Places Program is an Australian Government initiative administered by State and Territory Governments, which aims to provide Australians with the skills that industy needs.

Applications for funding under the Productivity Places Program for Workers will be accepted periodically between 2009 and 2012 by each State Training Authority.

The above qualifications may be available to people who meet the eligibility criteria listed below:

  • An Australian citizen or resident
  • Aged 15 years or above
  • Employed at least one hour per week

The employer must be prepared to make a 10% contribution towards course costs and the remaining 90% will be funded by the Government.
